The Making of an Artisan Kitchen
As a boy, family meals were a function of necessity. We ate because our bodies needed nourishment— no more, no less. As I got older and ventured beyond the influence of my kin, I discovered a world where families gathered in well-appointed kitchens, telling stories and chatting about life while deftly turning meats and produce into a sumptuous family lunch.
To partake in the ritual of people sharing life through food was transformative and today serves as the inspiration for the Artisan Kitchen— a place where people can purposely gather to share a meal and a conversation while enjoying life over a delicious plate of food.
